It took a while, but the boys at iSERVE have come thru in the end..

After a disaster of Biblical proportions with the local Whangarei Igrin server (imagine a smoking computer box with bits of smoking RAID hard-drive everywhere) a transfer to the Orcon/iSERVE data center was necessitated with great haste.

Thanks to Paul Batchelder from UIT, who sponsor the hosting of this site and the people at iSERVE, notably Mark Wakefield, we are back on-line lounging around in the luxury of the Drupal installation that we have become accustomed to.

Since only-a-few-hours ago the backed-up version of this site that was closest to when the box went kapooey was restored to its former glory.

So we have the all-clear to start posting again, safe in the knowledge that the site is now hosted in one of the most sophisticated and reliable data-centers in NZ.

(and If it turns to shit now, all the usual disclaimers apply.. ;-))
