Crew's report

Hibiscus IIIHibiscus IIIWe've Just returned to NZ to fresh snow and temperatures well below the gentle mid-twenties we’d become accustomed to in Fiji. All a bit fast and shocking really.

We left Hibiscus at an exciting point in the project; Lia Fal had just arrived in Suva, Ratbag has since arrived, and a workshop/meeting in the village at Solodamu is planned for this week. Hibiscus was due to sail back to Solodamu with some of the Bogiva whanau on board on Thursday.

August 23 Progress Report

It is nearly the end of August, Hibiscus festival is underway in Suva, the fleet is in port and an update for the website is long overdue. Much has happened and generally speaking all is on track. The weather has been changeable, a couple of squally periods to break up the sunny trade winds.

Ainara's Blog

Hi Guys! Ainara here. I am a Basque girl that took part in this unforgettable trip.
Me and my boyfriend Rich, after living in NZ for 2 years decided to travel to the South Pacific Islands. Travelling by boat? Ainara returning from gardensAinara returning from gardensThat was not in my plans. He really wanted to do it so I did it for love …..
Being born by the sea helped me to love and respect it, however my knowledge of sailing was zero before this epic trip and I was concerned about my ability to be useful…..
